I am Dr. Khalid Ibrahim. I write books for children, and I build their worlds in pictures and in words.

I love stories that hold delight and curiosity together, and that leave a child with something once the story is over: a new idea, a question, or the wish to know more.

I write in Arabic and in English, and I take care that each edition is shaped for its own language, so the story feels natural and enjoyable wherever it is read.

In my books you will find wide room for imagination, because a good book does not end at the last page. That is where a new conversation with the child begins.
